Project Day
Dear Ellen,
As you can see from my swipes of blue paint on the wall in the first photo, my whole 'mix all your leftover paints together and see what you get' scenario did not prove successful this time. If Pepto Bismol came in blue, it would be THAT shade of blue. On a happy note, the stars have been multiplying in my upstairs hallway.

It Must be Love...
Dear Ellen,
My living room has been taken over by a gigantic train table,
and the boys couldn't be happier. Sighhh. The sacrifices we
make for pure aesthetics. I'm already re-designing the buildings
in my head. Why not some just plain wood with just a few touches
funky colors like rust and turquoise? I get soo tired of the cliche red,
yellow, blue and green motif. Still, for a massive albatross in my living
room, it will bring hours of fun and happiness, and there really wasn't
anything better looking out there. OH, and this was the trade-off for the Binky,
which Binkerbell has taken. Listen to me, now I'm creating fairies to do my dirty-
work! It's true, you eat a lot of crow as a parent!
Love, Hannah

Got it!
Two beautiful pashmina scarves and a note. Yes I will wear them. Maybe more than once. I've gone on an internet quest to find projects using woven scarves. No luck so far. I'm worried it will fray if I cut it. I'm up for a challenge, though. Thank you, my dear friend. I LOVE them! The colors are so deep and glorious. Pics to follow (I left my camera at school today).

Other uses...
Or pillows, or wall art. Even as a pop here and there, like in the bathroom! They are pashminas, originally. :) I was worried about telling you that for fear you wouldn't let me cut them up. Hahaha. Please tell me you are still going to have SOME color in your house? I'm still working on getting color into mine...
Gut Reaction
Dear Hannah,
What a posting marathon! I love it all and will comment accordingly when the perfect moment arrives. Until then, my gut reaction to the fabric:
Love!!!!
Intrigued
How can I use it paired with neutrals?
Kitchen curtains???
More later,
love you,
Ellen
